Well as some of you may already know, Josh and I broke up. Its been difficult especially since we thought so much about marriage. But Its been slowly getting more and more bearable. My family has been helping my sending texts filled with words of encouragement. And even one of my roommates got me a card yesterday. It was really nice of her.Yesterday was another hard day since I decided that even beings friends with him wasn't good for me anymore. So I went over and said my official goodbye. Maybe in the future we'll be able to be friends again but it probably won't happen and thats not something I wanna focus on. I still care about him and wished that we can be friends but its better to pull the band-aid off fast.So now I'm just trying to get things back on track. Hanging out with friends and such. Trying to stay busy. I've gone out on a few dates but nothing too promising on that subject. I will write more when I have some good news to write about. Until then try to keep your eyes open for some nice guys for me to hang out with.
I wasn't really expecting to go home for thanksgiving since I was just home for Halloween and what not, but it seemed like everyone, even Josh, wanted me to go. So I went and it was so much fun! I've never been to Disneyland around Christmas time, it was so beautiful that I almost cried a few times. especially when they made it snow on main street. Its always fun being with my little siblings. I don't know if I should feel weird that I fit right in with the kids. I Probably get that from my dad. I even got my face painted. Well to be honest, I don't think anyone really wanted to do it as much as I did. I can even be more of a kid than the kids!

After Disneyland I went home for a few days. It was nice to see Shandi and her family. She mostly had to tag along and help me look for presents for Josh, but she didn't complain. Actually I think she really wanted me to look at rings for us more than anything :) I'm glad she likes him, and that her kids do too. I'm really excited for us to go home for Christmas! Hopefully Josh can meet more of my dad's side of the family.

It can be stressful being at home, but it is hardly ever boring. Utah can be sometimes, especially when Josh isn't here to liven things up! I like that it seems that no matter what we're doing, I'm always having fun with him. You people reading my blog will probably get sick of hearing me talk about how great Josh is... sorry about that. But I guess if you wanna hear about my life, your gonna get an earful of Josh. ha.
Love you all. can't wait to see you Californians for Christmas!!!

Well its been over three months since I've updated my blog, and about that entire time I have been dating Josh Hampton. At first he was mo hawk, but he was quickly promoted to Josh. (Plus you can't really call someone mo hawk very long after they cut it off.) He just turned 25 on the third and I made him a skull quilt(Thanks for the help Gma Bigs!) and a wooden chest because he thinks its a pirate. poor guy. The other week he took me out for a photo shoot to practice his photography skills. It was hard for me to be serious since I can be rather timid(a trait I get from my mom), but we did get a few good pictures!
Some of you may be wondering why I'm talking about Josh so much. Although it is true that we did break up a while ago, everything has pretty much remained the same. We get along well, and neither of us are interested in anyone else. We will be going home on the 24th of October to see our families- Oh, i forgot to mention that Josh is from Merced. Anyway, I'm really excited, especially since he hasn't met Shandi or her family yet. I'm not really worried about them liking him becuase he gets along well with people of all ages! I also haven't met one of his sisters, and hopefully the more I see his family the less awkward I will be around them.

My apologies for talking about Josh the whole time. I know the blog is supposed to be more about me, but I'm not very exciting all on my own. Plus Josh is a big part of my life at he moment, he's my best friend! Aside from my mom and my sisters of course. I know some of you have heard me complain a few times but Josh really is a great guy. I'm not exactly sure what's going to happen between us but I've got a feeling that he'll probably stick around for a while. Or am I just hoping?
I know its been a few months since I last posted something on here so I'll re-cap whats new in my life since Jan. I have been working for a dentist in Provo for the last few months as a dental asst. and love it. Although I am still thinking of moving on to hygiene. But we'll see what happens because I also want to go on a mission. I have also been having problems with my stomach for about a month. It seems to be a toss up between an ulcer and my gall bladder. But it should be ok once I get the proper treatment. I'm still not dating anyone seriously-mostly dating around. But I'll let you know when it changes. I'm not the type to rush into anything so you don't have to worry about getting an out of the blue wedding announcement. I don't see that happening at all this year but who knows. I have sweet roommate named Daniele who is pretty
much my best friend now so you might hear me say her name every now and then.

And I also can't wait to go to Texas at the end of this month! It'll be great to see the fam! Shandi, her boys, and my cousins! I'm way excited about my cousin Ali getting baptized. I'm glad that she's found the happiness that comes from the gospel. I'm very happy that I get to see my momma and my 3 younger siblings(and maybe my pop) this next week! I miss them and know it'll be fun. Well I'll try to keep you posted more regularly on the happenings in the life of Kristen. Peace!
Well I've been wondering for a while whether or not it would be worth it to create a blog of my own. I finally decided I would at least try it out. We'll see how it goes.
Despite what you may think, my life isn't very exciting. I don't know how interesting I can make this for you but I can still fill you on the the basics. My plans for school have been slightly modified. I am going to start a dental assisting program in January. I was planning on going to Ameritech but after finding out that another school offered the same accredited program for half the time and money, I was eager to check it out. It is a 2o week program at the Utah College of Dental Hygiene. I am excited because I feel like this is a good way for me to gain some qualifications while deciding if I would like to pursue a career in dental hygiene.
As for those of you that like to be posted on who I am dating... Our relationship is currently under construction. Therefore you may have to wait a few days until I can give you a clear analysis.
